Semester-start hiking trip

Dear students, please accept an invitation to a semester-start hiking trip.

This will take place on the 15th of September (Friday prior to the semester start) and will commence at 10 am from Obřany-Babická, final stop of bus no.x45, which goes from Stará Osada, which is the final stop of tram no. 2 and 3.

From here, we will go via Obřany to Panská lícha (a pub is there, we will be able to buy lunch there, or you may bring your own and have a picnic nearby), to Soběšice and Útěchov, where the trip will end and we will be able to take a bus back into the city center. I guess we will be in Útěchov around 4-5 pm, depending on how long we will eat in the pub. Standard travel tickets (zone 100+101) are required.

I have invited all the professors, as well as the second years students (since I am their class teacher. We did this already last year with great success) - so it will be a chance to get to know each other, as well as to catch up on the news from holiday time. Take friends/family as pleased.

Please wear trainers or hiking boots and appropriate outfits, we will go via forests, rocks and meadows. No city shoes are suitable. The pub is a country horse club, and no latest fashion is required. Everybody pays for her/his own lunch, it is also possible to bring your own lunch, plenty of space to have a picnic around the pub. Please take enough to drink, there is no possibility to buy anything except in the pub.

Please, let me know, who is attending, so I have a rough idea!
